21st April 2003 Windsurfing: Poole Harbour Wind Direction: S/W Wind Stength: F3 Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: Warmish Sea Temperature: Good Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Only a short session with the Wife and little boy in tow. The wind was very marginal at times on and off the plane all the time, so it was no suprise to find others on the beach who had found it hard going today aswell as me. I did get a few good runs but mainly on starboard tack so I had to put the anchors on to avoid the wall. Did not seem to be able to get going on port tack ??? I found my 8mtr tough and tiring after a good few sessions on my smaller kit . Not a bad day in the end due to one run inparticular when I managed to overtake a few !! (rare for me) But I missed the company of my old mate seanbo for analysis and a good old pisstake here and there I did sneak a Stella in after mind. J... |
